Tax & Bookkeeping FAQ
Everything You Need to Know About Working with an Enrolled Agent
Take a look at the FAQs below for the details on how I work and what to expect. If your question isn't on the list, just reach out and we’ll chat.

An Enrolled Agent is a tax professional who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Unlike many tax preparers or CPAs who focus on broad accounting, EAs specialize specifically in taxation and have "unlimited representation rights." This means Josh is federally authorized to represent any taxpayer regarding any tax matter before any IRS office.
You can search for 'Josh Davis' in Raleigh, NC, on the IRS.gov website to confirm my active standing.
